The week started with me looking forward to speaking to my boss about the dynamics of the team, and he gave some insight into how the team will evolve over the coming months. It wasn't really reassuring how I fit into it all, but there was a glimpse of hope that it wasn't what I was thinking. I went to a ghetto gym on Wednesday. Wow, I don't think I have been in such a scene since my days at McFit. The workout wasn't so bad, but the place was crowded and there was an exhibitionist as well. 😉
The RCD 330 finally arrived. I was able to install it and test it on Friday, and it was really cool. I don't know why I held off all this time, but I am glad to have finally gotten it. I also got a wireless adapter, and they all worked flawlessly. I'm not sure which I will use more in the coming days, but I am glad I have both options. It came in really handy on my trip to HH the day after. It was nice not having to navigate with the phone in hand.
Nice visiting the Kaiser's, couldn't eat though. It wasn't awkward and gave me an insight into what might be in the offering. I would rather not speculate now and just allow time to do its thing. Indeed, our Lord is the best of Planners.
Ramadaan is here! The moon was sighted on Friday evening and I attended my first Taraweeh. I've had experience with Turkish-run Masajid and the feeling has not been the best. This time I decided to try the African-run Islamic centre. I had prayed there a few times in the past; the general feeling was nice and not too far from my apartment. The first night I prayed in the main hall, but I arrived late on Saturday and Sunday, which led to me praying in the basement. Averaging a page per Rak'a, it wasn't bad. I look forward to the serenity of IKZ, but the distance and parking situation makes it less desirable. Hopefully, I can find a solution.
69394 steps with 17362 on Wednesday. Not bad at all.
